Storyfest 2015 went "on the road" to community schools, in order to ease the congestion in downtown Jackson during the extensive road construction project.
We were able to entertain and educate  approximately 11,000 students this year in the art of storytelling. (This is nearly double the amount of students from the previous year.) We will be reviewing and analyzing survey results from teachers, principals, and storytellers in order to move forward and plan Storyfest 2016!!
We extend a sincere thank you to all who hosted the Storytellers in the schools. Please stay tuned for updates as they become available.

The JCISD is a partner in this spring program that brings some of the area's best storytellers in front of thousands of students and seniors - sparking their interest in reading! There are plenty of opportunities for families to also join in the fun.
