MUNIS SELF SERVICE
 
The Jackson County Intermediate School District went live with a program called, MUNIS Self Service.
 
This online program allows you to do the following:
  • Make open enrollment choices (insurance and benefit options)
  • Address, emergency contact and phone changes
  • View your pay stub information, including past work years
  • View W-2's and W-4 information
  • View your sick, personal business and vacation balances
  • View your personal employment information

This MUNIS Self Service website is designed to be helpful for the employee and economically helpful for the Jackson ISD.

 

 
LOGGING IN TO MUNIS:
The MUNIS Self Service is a secured network that is available for each employee twenty four-seven. To login  to the website, you must go to https://munis.jcisd.org/mss. Your username is your firstnamelastname all together. There ARE NO SPACES, DOTS, SLASHES, ETC. It is just your first name and last name all together as one word. YOU MUST use the first and last name as they APPEAR ON YOUR PAY STUB!!!!! Your password is the last four digits of your social security number.

                        Example:          Username: JaneDoe

                                                PASSWORD: 1234

Once you have logged into the webpage, you will be prompted to change your password. MAKE IT SOMETHING YOU CAN REMEMBER! The only access the JCISD Technology Department will have to your password is the password Hint.

 

 

HELPFUL REMINDERS FOR JCISD EMPLOYEES ONLY:
  1. Insurance Open Enrollment begins on September 1 of each year and ends on September 30 at midnight of each year! YOU MUST SELECT something on the MUNIS SELF SERVICE website to activate your insurance for the year. 
  2. Sick/personal/vacation bank balances can be viewed on MUNIS Self Serve. BEWARE, if you enter a paid absence in AESOP and the bank balance is insufficient, the time not covered by the bank will be without pay and deducted from your paycheck. It is your responsibility to monitor your paid absences in MUNIS Self Serve as you enter absences in AESOP.
  3. EMPLOYEES MUST complete the Section 125 Enrollment Paper Form, ALONG with selecting the online option through the MUNIS Self Service website!!!! The paper form must be turned in the Business Office before midnight of September 30, 2009.                         Click here to access the paper form
